Hello again, it's me, Joseph and I'm on the move and making magic happen. Yes, it's true, I've actually turned back time. I know what you're thinking. We all set our clocks back this weekend, at least the ones that weren't automatic. (If you didn't yet, no worries, they'll be right again in six months. Your cell phone has the correct time.)
I turned back time in a different way. Inspired by a Halloween getaway to Vegas, I became my BFF, Cher, from the Turn Back Time tour. (Do you remember when I wrote her a letter and asked to jump on her stage for my birthday?) Anyway, imitation is the best form of flattery. It was more than wearing a costume, it was an adventure in becoming and I even found a sailor or two!
Dear reader, don't ever lose the pursuit to become, whether it's enjoying Halloween, which truly is for kids of all ages, or changing your hairstyle, or your career or your address or anywhere in between. In some sense, Halloween allows us to turn back time and be whomever we want to be, even if it's just for a day. And, as long as we're still on the subject of Halloween, let me just take a moment or two to share an awesome video I saw on my FB feed this year. Seriously, it's just two minutes.
The world would be so much kinder if we allowed people to be who they want to be and/or gave them the room and grace to figure it out when they need to. I hope you enjoyed Halloween if that's your thing. I hoped you turned your clock back and had an extra hour to do whatever you wanted. And, I really hope you spend a little time every day just becoming a better, more outrageous or happier, or __________(you fill in the blank,) version of yourself. And, should you ever need some "me time" space, we have the perfect place!
